Temecula: Party Leads To Shooting ‘One Injured’
According to a Sheriffs Press Release; A shooting incident occurred on April 10th, 2015, Officers from the Temecula Police Department were dispatched to the 30600 block of Pauba Road located in the City of Temecula for a report of a shooting at a residence. When Officers arrived at the scene they observed more than 50 individuals attending a party.
The report says, the party was being held by an underage minor while the homeowners were away.
The report also goes on to say that a short time later, a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound showed up at a nearby hospital seeking medical treatment. The victim stated he had been shot while at a party.
Detectives were able to interview numerous subjects at the scene whom were attending the party, and were able to collect and gather evidence related to the incident the report says.
Witnesses said that during the party, an altercation occurred between two groups of party attenders. One group fled the party scene in a vehicle and threatened to return with a firearm. A short while later, several individuals arrived at the party in a white truck.
The individuals exited the truck, approached the party and shouted before shooting into a crowd. The report says at least two of the individuals involved in the shooting were identified from the earlier altercation.
Seven suspects have been arrested,which included a 16-year-old, (3) 17 year olds, (2) 18-year-old and a 21-year-old.
Most of the suspects were from Temecula with the 21-year-old being from San Diego.
This incident is still an ongoing investigation.
