Should Police Be Required To Have Special Insurance?

Should all Police officers be required to carry liability insurance?

Just as a doctor carries malpractice insurance.

My Opinion:

This may seem funny, but think about it… It’s almost like having car insurance, the more accidents you have, the higher the premium.

Should an Officer have many accidents then the Dept. may not want to pay the higher premium, thus possibly forcing the Officer to cover the added cost.

This would be a great idea as an added oversight.. If an Officer looses their insurance they should not be allowed to patrol the streets, until their insurance is re-instated and or they find an insurer that will insure them.

Victims would be able to burry their loved ones at the cost of the insurance company.

San Diego County, CA –

According to NBC 7 San Diego:

Sheriff’s investigators say a man randomly stabbed while walking home alone in Fallbrook in January was a hate crime, and three men now behind bars attacked him because of the color of his skin.

Three suspected individuals have been arrested, the identity as to their race is still unclear to us at this point, what is clear, is that an innocent young black man identified as Hugh Pettigrew, 33 is dead.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Stay tuned we will update this…

(Un-related)Fallbrook is known for its controversy in having had many white supremacists in that area.

Riverside: Dental And I Just Want My Teeth Cleaned W/O X-rays…

Opinion and View:

I live in Temecula in the County of Riverside CA –

This story all started like this:

First and foremost I brush my teeth on a daily basis, but like so many other people out there, we’re always striving for better looking teeth.

My first visit –

My family and I all have health insurance and are insured, my issues came several years ago when I went to a dentist to just get a simple teeth cleaning but before I could get that I had to have X-rays performed first even though I didn’t want the X-rays, I was then told that without the X-rays first, I could not get service of having my teeth cleaned.

I didn’t think much of it, so I allowed for the X-rays, that was the first set of X-rays in Temecula.

My second visit –

A couple years later our insurance changed as so did our dentist and again I wanted to get a simple teeth cleaning but again I was told, before I could get my teeth cleaned I had to have X-rays performed, this would now be my second set of X-rays performed by Dentists here locally in Temecula.

My third visit –

Now in 2016 amazing our insurance changes again as so did our dentist , and again I wanted to get a simple teeth cleaning, again I was told, before I could get my teeth cleaned I had to have X-rays performed, this would now be my third set of X-rays performed by Dentists here locally in Temecula. This time I have totally denied all service.

Questions:

  1. Why can’t Dentists just order the X-ray records from other dental offices? especially when they all seem to be on file via Computer data base?
  2. Why can’t I just get a simple teeth cleaning, after all I pay for the insurance?
  3. Why does insurance companies seem to change or switch either on a yearly or by-yearly basis?
  4. Is that healthy? and is it safe for continued X-rays?

Final thought;

Many would assume that it’s just cheaper to have dental coverage every other three years, if one has to continue getting x-rays.

At this rate it would seem to me that I will have to take continued x-Rays for simple teeth cleaning for the remainder of my life, So now I’m debating on cancelling our dental insurance and just buy products which will give me good teeth cleaning.

Note: This is from my personal experience, others may vary.

Published

on

Temecula, CA:

Lines were long at the Temecula, Kohl’s off 79 on Friday at about 5:15 pm as many waited to shop and receive great deals, I and my family were some of them. (The store opened at 6pm on this day)

Among some of the good deals we received were $99 32inch TV’s what a bargain,.. we also purchased $19 all in one Wi-Fi hp printers and more..

Everyone was able to get in and shop from what I was able to observe.. and the staff was very helpful and super polite…during their most busiest times…

I must say as always, the staff at this store are awesome.

To me this is one of the best customer service orientated stores I have ever shopped at, the staff has always been above and beyond pleasant to me, friends and family… as I have never had a problem here.

Thank you Kohl’s you are awesome…
