Perris: shoot-out with Deputies leaves one dead
June 8, Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Perris Station, responded to reports of gun shots heard in the area of Oak Street a press release says.
Deputies were able to observe a male suspect armed with a firearm. The suspect raised the firearm in the direction of the deputies according to the press release, In which an officer involved shooting occurred.
Eexchanges of gunfire occurred between the deputies and the suspect according to the press release. The suspect was armed with a shotgun according to the press release.
The suspect was shot by deputies and pronounced deceased at scene according to the press release.
No deputies were injured according to the press release.
